Chroma 63804 AC & DC Electronic Load

The Chroma 63804 is a Programmable AC & DC Electronic Load designed for testing Off-Grid Inverters, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, AC Sources, Breakers, switches, connectors, and fuses. This model can provide 4500W maximum power and 0-45 Arms current. This model can be operated within a voltage range of 50-350 Vrms. While working in the constant current mode, the Chroma 63804 offers 5mA resolution at an accuracy of 0.1% + 0.2%F.S. In continuous resistance mode, the user can operate this Programmable Electronic Load within a range of 1.11Ω-2.5kΩ resistance with 50μ resolution and 0.5 % + 0.5% F.S. accuracy.

For three phase and high power applications, the Chroma 63804 provides 3-phase and parallel functions as well. To expand testing capabilities, the user can operate multiple units together in a master/slave configuration. This arrangement can prove itself to be a cost-effective arrangement, especially for 3-phase applications. The Chroma 63804 comes equipped with integrated 16-bits measurement circuits. These circuits offer a precise measurement of true RMS Current / true RMS Voltage, true power (P), reactive power (Q), power factor, crest factor, peak repetitive current, THDv, etc. It also features two analog outputs, one for voltage and one for current. These analog outputs can be used as a convenient means of monitoring through an external oscilloscope.

This Electronic Load features an LCD to keep the user informed about operating parameters. For external controlling and programming, it comes equipped with two onboard communication interfaces: GPIB and RS-232. The Chroma 63804 comes with a special DC rectified mode that can be used for the simulation of distributed invertor`s loading behavior.
